IMAN IUI Students Host “Advocacy and Faith” Panel Featuring Local Faith Leaders
The IMAN Indiana University-Indianapolis (IUI) chapter hosted an interfaith panel on November 19th, 2025 about the influence of one’s faith, and how that shapes their advocacy and service to their community. With panelists Imam Anisse, Reverend Erin Houghland-Glass, and Rabbi Aaron Spiegel, students learned about the driving force behind advocacy from various faith lenses. Audience members enjoyed catering by Mr. Shawarma while listening to the panelists speak. Panelists demonstrated the similarities and differences as to how their faiths influence their approach to advocacy, and heard encouragement from all panelists about the importance of continuing to advocate even in tough times.
