Voter Education with the Islamic Center of Evansville (ICOE)

This past election cycle, we got the opportunity to chat with some community members in Evansville Indiana. The Islamic Center of Evansville has a vibrant Muslim community and they were gracious enough to have us come and talk about the importance of getting involved in local politics as a Muslim. We got to break down the structures of the Indiana government and our Statehouse. We also talked about the various local races while encouraging community members to look into different roles in city-council and school boards.
